Silicon based lubricant

Previously we discussed water based lubes, and as promised, we gonna discuss silicon based lubes, which are almost most common lubricants, right after water based. They are very popular because they are longer lasting meaning that you don’t have to constantly to reapply it.

Avoid using silicon based lube when doing any oral stuff and also if you use latex condoms, use different kind of lubricant, because latex and silicon don’t get along too well.

Advantages

• Silicon based lubricants stay slick longer than other lubricants, because they are not absorbed by the skin itself. That means no constant reapplying.
• Slick, Silky, Comfortable
• Can be use in the watter because of unique property of being watter resistant
• Less likely to cause allergic reactions, because the silicon based lubricant is not absorbed by the skin

Disadvantages

• It doesn’t taste good
• Silicon based lubricants are harder to wash off of clothing and bedsheets, because of water resistance property
• Not to be used with silicon toys. They make silicon toys degrade faster
• If you wanna use it with the condoms, please always check the labels if condoms and lubricant get along
• It’s expensive with regard water based lubricants
